Nifty YouTube Tricks: Deep-Linking Videos
We all have them – our favorite part of a YouTube video that we could watch over and over. Maybe it is a really interesting fact, a stunning panorama, or a hilarious punchline. No matter what it is, if you are trying to send the link to a friend or colleague there is nothing more frustrating than having to try to explain where exactly in the video the part you want to them to see is located.
Well not any more. The powers-that-be at YouTube have devised a way for you to create links to videos that begin playing at a certain point into the video rather then simply at the beginning – a process known as deep-linking.
To show you how you can create your own “deep-links”, we have created a short, five step tutorial, that will have you sharing the best parts of your favorite YouTube videos in no time. Enjoy!
