I just finished reading an article in the latest edition of the FrogPond.com newsletter that started with the headline “Social Networks and Blogs Now More Popular than Personal e-Mail”.  Another headline published by RISMedia this weekend stated “48% of Americans Active on Social Networking Sites”.  And finally, now there is a Social Media Marketing Institute with a new Certified Social Media Marketer (CSM) designation for Realtors.

Social media is quickly becoming a critical area to an effective online marketing plan.  But how many of you know how to do it already?  I am extremely interested to find existing Point2 Agent users that are currently employing social media as part of their overall marketing strategy.  If you are willing to share some of your experiences and tactics with me I would love to hear from you.

   Hello Jennifer,

   We have currenntly just launched our Youtube page and Twitter page. We have been blogging for a while now but have recently just started to promote the blog. We are currently working on tieing all four sites together. We have our P2A site, YouTube Site, P2A Blog and now Twitter. I have been finding that they all are supporting each other with information. We are just starting to see subscribers and we have been able to integrate the blog and youtube on our main site. Our goal is to be able to provide information to any body this is interested in our product in whatever way they get their information. We are currently waiting for the market to turn around so we can get more support to then add more social sites to our list. You can find links to all of our sites on the bottom of our homepage. You can also see how we have started using Youtube playlist on our main website as well. We are just starting to promote the Videos that are on Youtube but the playlists are on our main site, we then promote the information on Twitter and our blog and get people back to our main site. I hope that makes since.
