New Kid On The Block

Hi!

My name is Tanis. It is a rather unusual name, I know – but at least not easily confused with the some of the more common names here at Point2! With several Jesse’s, Chris’s, and Ryan’s inhabiting the office, it can get confusing at times! When my name is said, everyone knows exactly who I am and I’m one of the lucky few who does not have my last name initial attached to my name for clarity.

I’ve recently joined the innovative (and extremely good-looking, I might add) group of folks that make up Point2’s Marketing Team as a Junior Marketing Coordinator.

I know you’re all wondering what a person with such an atypical name is all about. So, here are some quick tips about me:

I enjoy all things music, and when I’m not at the wonderful world of Point2, I can be found attending live concerts, playing my guitar, beating up my drums, and belting out off key tunes in the comfort of my own home – trust me, singing is not my forte! I manage and work with a handful of fairly established performing artists which keeps me busy in my spare time. I guess you could say I’m artsy all around. Other than that, I enjoy studying human psychology, football games, seeking adventure, travelling, and I also eat hot sauce on just about everything.

Also, I’ve likely spelled my name out for many of you on the telephone, as I spent the past two years as a Customer Care Representative. I’ve enjoyed talking to each and every person I came into contact with as well as gained some valuable knowledge and experiences from some of our incredible Point2 customers.

With my background in Marketing I am beyond excited to be joining the Point2 Marketing team. I look forward to sharing some of my thoughts and comments here with all of you!
