Know Your Stuff? Be the Neighborhood Expert
Most people on the move generally have a good idea what sort of neighborhood they would like to live in. The last time I moved, I didn’t do my research and found myself living on a street where just about every family seemed to have eight kids or more, and two or three dogs that all liked to bark at 4am – really, I’m only exaggerating a little bit! Nothing against children or animals, but it was just a little bit more than I could handle.
Wouldn’t it be handy for home buyers to have the ability to ‘ask an expert?’ Is the neighborhood a safe one? Or should I lock my car doors at night? Is it a quiet neighborhood? Or should I program the number for noise complaints into my iPhone? Are there parks nearby? Schools? Restaurants? Bus stops? And most importantly, shopping centers? (Well, for me anyway
) Of course the list goes on…
As an example…if I was able to move somewhere…like, say Hawaii Kai in Honalulu, Hawaii – then I would be able to bypass the painfully cold winter that’s not far away from us here in Saskatoon. But before doing that, I would be sure to ask all my questions to this lady over here –>
Our Neighborhood auction for the next quarter has just started and right now you can own a piece of the pie – own your very own neighborhood. Of course I don’t mean that in literal terms – but for a full quarter, you get to don the title of ‘Neighborhood Expert’. There’s no shiny sash or crown that comes along with it – but what’s better, your face is front and center on Point2Homes – which gets over 12 million pageviews a month (just sayin!). Anyone even considering the neighborhood is met with you and your contact information.
Besides the exposure to your brand and services, just a few other benefits:
- Your own detailed description
- Photos
- Demographics (including the number of households with/without children!)
- Satellite imagery of your neighborhood and featured listings
- Comments area
