The Race Is On! HomeFinder.com’s SCVNGR Hunt

If you live in Atlanta (or are willing to relocate to Atlanta) and are looking for your dream home, HomeFinder.com is making it just a bit easier to reach that goal – and fun too!

It’s called Race for the Home and it’s being held on September 25th throughout Atlanta.

They’ve placed a $20,000 prize to put towards a down payment (courtesy of SunTrust Mortgage, the law offices of Weissman Nowack Curry & Wilco, and Prudential Georgia Realty) in one of the Prudential Georgia Realty open houses somewhere in Atlanta. All you have to do is find it.

Participants in this unique scavenger hunt, appropriately powered by SCVNGR, will receive clues via text message to their cell phones. Then, using their wits and speed, they can decipher the clues to gain more points and lead them to the next location checkpoint.

At the end of one short morning of chasing down clues and racing to check-in points, the team with the highest number of points accumulated will find themselves the winners of a $20,000 injection to their down payment.
